Drawing from his extensive expertise, Marcelo specializes in the meticulous drafting and prosecution of patent applications and industrial designs across various sectors including pharmaceuticals, chemical, oil and gas, medical devices, and mechanical engineering. Moreover, he provides invaluable guidance to clients on the acquisition, administration, and evaluation of intellectual property rights.

Marcelo's professional footprint extends beyond borders, as evidenced by his involvement in landmark patent infringement and validity disputes adjudicated before the Federal Court of Canada, along with his advisory role to international counterparts in legal proceedings abroad.

Distinguished in his field, Marcelo holds esteemed affiliations, including being a Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and a registered professional engineer in Ontario. He serves as Chair of the Innovation Science and Technology Committee, and his past leadership roles, such as Former President of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, underscore his commitment to fostering international business relations. Additionally, Marcelo is actively engaged in advancing innovation ecosystems, evidenced by his roles in various programs and initiatives, such as Toronto Metropolitan University's Science Discovery Zone and the Peterborough and the Kawarthas Innovation Cluster.

Meredith's journey into the world of Intellectual Property (IP) began as a teenager during a transformative summer internship with a prestigious national law firm, where her passion for this intricate field ignited. Fast forward over twenty-five years, Meredith has amassed a wealth of diverse experience in IP, offering comprehensive support in IP prosecution across various domains, both domestically and internationally. Her expertise extends to the intricate management of intricate IP portfolios, ensuring clients, whether multinational corporations or individual entrepreneurs, receive tailored services that meet their unique needs.

Moreover, Meredith's proficiency in IP Systems Development, coupled with her dedication to Best Practice Standards, underscores her commitment to delivering services characterized by exceptional quality and efficiency. This ensures that every client receives optimal support in navigating the complexities of intellectual property law.

Complementing her professional journey, Meredith's educational background in Accounting, coupled with her completion of Canadian Military and College courses in general accounting and finance at the administrative level, provides her with a well-rounded foundation that enriches her approach to IP management.

Paul holds a Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from Columbia University and a NSF-Postdoc in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University.  Paul has received multiple honours including Regents' Professor at Montana State University and  Distinguished Lilly Lecturer at Indiana University.  Paul has acted as an expert witness in precedent setting patent litigation matters and is recognized as an expert in Organic Chemistry.  Paul also maintains a cattle ranch in Montana.
